Creating Memorable Yet Secure PINs

Balance security and memorability:

Create patterns on the keypad that aren't obvious sequences. For example, diagonal movements or shapes that are meaningful only to you.

Use dates meaningful to you but transform them (reverse, add digits, etc.). For example, birthday 0315 becomes 5130 or 031515.

Use patterns from a computer keyboard that differ from phone keypads, making them harder to guess if someone watches you enter them.

Common questions about creating secure personal identification numbers:

Characters like 0/O or 1/I/l can be confusing. Excluding them prevents errors when entering your PIN.

No! You can generate as many PINs as you need, though we recommend only generating what you'll actually use.

No. All generation happens in your browser - nothing is sent to our servers or stored anywhere.
